| Shoots a boxing glove, sort of.
Crafted by the Resourceful Rat as a way to cheat at fisticuffs, this boxing glove has been modified to spring out in a humorous manner. | |

Boxing Glove is a gun in Enter the Gungeon.
Effects
- Fires a limited range punch with a 30% chance to stun enemies for 3 seconds. Despite being a charged gun, the base punch has a charge time of 0 seconds, and can be rapid fired.
- Killing an enemy with the Boxing Glove adds a star to the gun, shown on the UI above the ammo counter, to a maximum of 3 stars. Taking damage or switching to another gun will remove all accumulated stars.
- Holding down the fire button to charge the gun with 3 stars will prepare a high damage super punch, consuming the stars.
- This super punch bypasses the Boss DPS cap.
- Non-boss enemies killed by a super punch are launched backwards in the direction they were punched, and can collide with other enemies, dealing damage. Unlike enemies launched by
Casey, enemies launched by the Boxing Glove always deal a consistent 5.5 damage to foes they impact. - Enemies killed by a super punch will not spawn additional enemies on death (such as King Bullats and Blobulons).
- Enemies killed by a super punch will not drop any
. Keybullet and Chance Kin will not drop any pickups. Mimics will not drop any items or guns.
- Increases
Curse by 1.
Item Interactions
Flak Bullets - With Flak Bullets, each punch of the boxing glove will fire a spread of six small projectiles.
Duct Tape - If Boxing Glove is duct taped onto another gun, all punches charged longer than 0.5 seconds will be super punches. It is difficult to see the Boxing Glove firing however, due to its projectile being invisible.
Notes
- This gun is a reference to Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!. Its Ammonomicon quote is a reference to Piston Honda (renamed in later games to Piston Hondo), one of the boxers in the Punch-Out! franchise.
- It is also a reference to (and example of) the Extendo Boxing Glove, which has appeared broadly in film, television, and literature.
- Canonically, The Gungeon rejects melee weapons, viewing them as heretical. This is the reason why the Boxing Glove gives 1
Curse. - CMV
Possible Bug The special UI icon for Boxing Glove in the Chinese Mobile Version of Enter the Gungeon appears blue. This is likely due to incorrect colour encoding issues when saving the file, as the same thing can be seen in other UI textures. - The entry for the Boxing Glove in the Physical Ammonomicon is misprinted, with the Ammonomicon subtitle Gun Punch Man instead of Pistol Hondo.
- This subtitle is a reference to the manga series One-Punch Man.
- This entry in the Physical Ammonomicon is also accompanied by a small doodle of two characters boxing, referencing the appearance of the Punch-Out! franchise.
- This gun appears in the animated release trailer for the Advanced Gungeons & Draguns Update.
