Nintendo Switch Physical Releases

Marketing for the May 2019 physical Nintendo Switch edition

In May of 2019 a physical version of Enter the Gungeon for the Nintendo Switch would release through Nighthawk Interactive. This version of the game came with an exclusive sticker sheet, a code for the Enter the Gungeon Soundtrack, an exclusive Shell skin for The Bullet, and an exclusive Bullet Kin papercraft.

Later that year, in August, Dodge Roll would release a limited run special edition physical Nintendo Switch version of Enter the Gungeon in collaboration with (now defunct) Special Reserve Games. This box art of this edition used key art of the A Farwell To Arms Update by Max Grecke on the front and back, rather than the yellow bullet kin box of the standard version.
In addition to the game, this release came with an artbook, 'Kill the Past' sticker, and special instruction booklet.

The artbook included in these versions is a small paperback booklet containing a collection of key art for Enter the Gungeon from artists including Max Grecke, John Cipriani, Dave Crooks, and Eric Polak. It also includes the entire set of ETGs Steam Trading Cards, also illustrated by John Cipriani.

The art book does not contain any artwork exclusive to itself, or that cannot be found elsewhere online.

Instruction Booklet

The instruction booklet is a miniature quick-reference guide intended to give new players a very basic understanding of Enter the Gungeon during their first playthroughs. While little of the instruction booklet is noteworthy, it does include basic explanations of hidden mechanics such as forcing boss drops to be guns, or the fact that beating a boss without taking damage drops double Hegemony Credit.png.
