The Machine Pistol is a small but powerful hand-held machine gun.
Machine Pistol is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon.
Synergies ETG
Behold! - If the player also has Com4nd0, M1911, Void Marshal, Eye of the Beholster, and Trank Gun (the weapons the Beholster uses in game), when the Eye of the Beholster is held, the other five guns rotate around the player and shoot at nearby enemies, still using up ammo from each gun. Obtainable through the Beholster shrine, although it can be activated without.
Pistol Machine - If the player also has Fortune's Favor, Laser Sight, Nanomachines, Bionic Leg, Shock Rounds, or +1 Bullets, Machine Pistol becomes perfectly accurate, its shots are linked with electricity that can damage enemies, and its shots gain the Angry Bullets effect.
The Submachinist - If the player also has the MAC10, the guns will be dual wielded.
Other Appearances
- The Machine Pistol appears in the Beholsters boss-card.
- The sleeve for the 2022 special edition vinyl release of the Enter the Gungeon soundtrack includes an illustration of the Machine Pistol being held by the Beholster by artist Joseph Harmon.
- The Machine Pistol also appears in the pop-up diorama inside of the sleeve, again held by the Beholster, and again illustrated by Joseph Harmon.
- A unique higher resolution sprite of what appears to be the Machine Pistol appears on the opening page of the 'Guns' chapter in the Physical Ammonomicon.
Notes
- This gun resembles a Mini Uzi, a compact, blowback-operated machine pistol developed in 1980, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum.
- This gun is used by Bandana Bullet Kin, and is one of the six guns wielded by the Beholster.
- As it is held by the Beholster, it can be placed on the Beholster Shrine.
- According to Dodge Roll artist Joe Harty, the machine pistol sprite has remained unchanged since the 2014 builds of Enter the Gungeon- to his apparent dissatisfaction.[1]
