Effects
- Increases Coolness by 3 while in the players inventory, decreasing the cooldown of active items and increasing the chance of items dropping upon clearing a room.
Synergies ETG
Trigger Twins - If the player also has Smiley's Revolver, ammo capacity is doubled and magazine size is increased by 50% for all guns, and the two guns will be dual wielded.
- While Lich's Eye Bullets doesn't give the dual wielding portion of the synergy, it will give the 2x ammo capacity and 50% magazine size increase.
- Since both Smiley's Revolver and Shades's Revolver are in the PISTOL gun class, having one makes finding the other less likely — and therefore slightly decreases the chances of obtaining the Trigger Twins synergy.
Other Appearances
- This gun is wielded by Shades. Correspondingly, it also appears in the Trigger Twins boss-card.
- Shades appears on the pop-up diorama inside the sleeve for the 2022 special edition vinyl release of the Enter the Gungeon soundtrack, illustrated by artist Joseph Harmon. While the gun he holds in this illustration does not resemble Shades's Revolver, it may be intended to represent the weapon.
Notes
- The pickup line "Someone Loses An Eye", could be a reference to the latter part of the phrase "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye."
- The corresponding pickup line of Smiley's Revolver, "All Smiles," is likely a corruption of the first part of the phrase.
- The "notches" referenced in the Ammonomicon Entry are usually indicative of a soldier's confirmed kills. As such, it is implied that Shades has killed 17 Gungeoneers.
- The entry for Shades's Revolver in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle of Shades.
