Phoenix Up synergy + Devolver Rounds

In my current run I have obtained Phoenix + Gungeon Pepper + Devolver Rounds, and so far every shot from the phoenix companion granted by the Phoenix Up synergy has devolved the enemy it hits. I don't know if I'm just witnessing a weird string of coincidences, but I'm posting while counting the number of consecutive devolutions (currently 6) so that I don't forget to do so. I will edit this post after the run is finished with either the final unbroken tally or confirmation that it was just random luck.--98.77.166.218 18:46, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

Here are the results from that run:

• the phoenix companion had 33 confirmed devolutions in a row on normal enemies
• on bosses and jammed enemies there were no devolutions, and normal behavior was observed (light on fire + damage)
• 1 hit on a normal shotgun kin behaved normally (no devolution, lit on fire and was damaged)
• an already devolved bulletkin was hit and nothing happened (did not even appear to catch on fire or take damage)
• 1 Killithid devolved while hovering over a lava pit and fell in (hillarious)

I was playing as the Hunter, and when I started noticing the behavior I had the following items:

1. Crossbow
2. Sunlight Javelin
3. Regular Shotgun
4. Phoenix
5. Gungeon Pepper
6. Devolver Rounds

It's not quite a statistically significant sample size yet, but I'm comfortable concluding that the Phoenix Up companion will nearly always trigger Devolver Rounds. Is this worth mentioning on the respective wiki pages?--98.77.166.218 21:13, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
