VertebraeK-47 is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.

Effects

• Rapidly fires homing ghost-shaped bullets that can pierce once.
• When close together, these bullets form chain links between each other that damage enemies.
  • ^ETG Each chain deals 2 damage to enemies it overlaps. Enemies hurt by a chain have a 1 second cooldown before they can be harmed by the same chain again.

Synergies ^ETG

• Dawn of the Gundead - If the player also has Zombie Bullets, the chance for VertebraeK-47 ammo to be refunded upon missing is doubled.
• Jolly Roger - If the player also has Skull Spitter, VertebraeK-47 can freeze enemies. Skull Spitter fires three skulls per shot, and skulls are linked like VertebraeK-47 shots.

Notes

• The weapon's name is a portmanteau of 'vertebrae' and 'AK-47'. Vertebrae are bones which a spine consists of, and the AK-47 is an assault rifle.
• The description of the gun is a reference to the Jake Clover game, Nuign Spectre.
• The freezing aspect of the Jolly Roger synergy may be a reference to the skeleton Brook from One Piece, who freezes his opponents.
• The entry for the VertebraeK-47 in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle of a ghost.
