Gats are mechanized sentries, built by some savvy adventurer in years past. Today, they have been completely integrated into Gundead society and do not remember their former masters.

Gats are fearsome mechanical armored sentries in Exit the Gungeon, and yet another enemy that Gungeoneers must face in their ascent through the Gungeon.

Gats drift around the elevator shaft/room, bouncing off of walls. While they are usually clamped firmly closed, they will occasionally snap open in order to fire several loose bullets in the direction of the player. While they are closed, they are nigh invulnerable, forcing a Gungeoneer to think more cleverly in order to take them on.

Notes

• Any player bullets that hit a closed Gat will simply bounce off.
