A bullet shark that has grown larger and faster.
These sharks are feared throughout the Gungeon, though surprisingly few shark-related deaths occur every year. |
Great Bullet Sharks are Bullet Shark variant enemies that appear in Enter the Gungeon.
Behaviour
Great Bullet Sharks float around the room and occasionally charge swiftly at the player, releasing slow-moving short-lived bullets behind and to the sides of it, some of which will accelerate outwards. Bullets that travel outwards will flash while bullets that stay behind will not.
While this behaviour is greatly similar to the attack of the Bullet Shark, Great Bullet Sharks move faster, charge for longer, and release more bullets as they charge.
Notes
- Great Bullet Sharks are a reference to Great White Sharks.
- The Ammonomicon description note about the low number of deaths caused by Great Bullet Sharks is a reference to the real life rarity of shark attacks, despite how much Sharks are feared.
- The Ammonomicon quote "Bigger Bullet" is in reference to the famous line "You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat" from the film Jaws.
- The Great Bullet Sharks Ammonomicon art has side fins that are not present in its ingame sprite.
