The High Priest drifts towards the player, occasionally dashing in a random direction. Additionally, bullets that travel along waves randomly appear from the walls.
The High Priest has several attacks:
Surrounds itself with a ring of large bullets, firing homing skulls that each burst into 6 more bullets when destroyed. When this attack ends, the ring of bullets surrounding the High Priest is launched outwards.
The homing skulls can be shot to destroy them prematurely. This is easiest to do with fast firing guns or beam weapons.
Darkens the entire room, fading from view. After a moment, large 'waves' bullets will begin to appear from random points around the room. These bullet 'waves' will continue to appear for the duration of the attack.
It is possible to dodge this attack easily by remaining in a corner and dodge rolling against a wall whenever a wave of bullets approaches.
While faded from view the High Priest is invulnerable to most forms of damage. The melee swing of Blasphemy, the explosion of Bullet Bore, and status effects like poison and fire can all deal damage to the High Priest while it is invisible.
Extends both arms and sprays rotating streams of bullets.
The large number of bullets created at a relatively concentrated point by this attack makes Potion of Lead Skin extremely effective at dealing damage here.
Extends both arms and sprays bullets randomly in all directions.
Fires wide spreads of triangular bullets.
Fires a single, fast bullet that homes in on the player.
