These irradiated slugs have a chance to poison any target they touch.
A favorite of the Resourceful Rat. |
Irradiated Lead is a passive item and bullet upgrade in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.
Effects
- Adds a chance to fire green bullets that poison enemies for 2.5 seconds.
- The chance for any given projectile to be poisoned is 50% multiplied by the effect chance scalar of the players current gun. This means that faster firing guns trigger the effect less often, while slower firing guns are more likely to be effected.
- Beam-style guns have a flat 25% chance per second to poison enemies they are shooting.
Synergies ETG
Added Effect - Poison - If the player has Alpha Bullet, the first shot of each magazine is guaranteed to be a poison bullet.
Beta Ray - Gamma Ray's beam grows larger and deals more damage, but no longer travels instantaneously.
Emerald Weapon - If the player has Omega Bullets, the last shot of each magazine is guaranteed to be a poison bullet.
Natural Selection - If the player also has Evolver, it evolves after every 3 unique enemy types killed instead of 5.
Pandemic Pistol - If the player has Plague Pistol, its bullets bounce and are connected with electricity.
Notes
- If an explosive projectile (such as from the
RPG or
Explosive Rounds) is poisoned by Irradiated Lead, it will leave a small pool of poison goop upon exploding.
Emerald Weapon is a reference to, and named after, one of the superbosses in the game Final Fantasy VII.
- 'Irradiated Lead' is a joke material, as lead is famous for its ability to shield against radioactive emissions, and is notoriously difficult to make radioactive.
