SynergiesETG
Iroquois - If the player also has Eyepatch, Rolling Eye, or Cigarettes, the MAC10's reload time is decreased by 33%, magazine size is increased by 50%, and knockback is increased by 50%.
The Submachinist - If the player also has Machine Pistol, both weapons are dual wielded and are fired simultaneously.
Notes
- The item's subtext is a reference to the Biggie Smalls song 'Come On'.
- The synergy with the Eyepatch is a reference to Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken in the 1981 movie Escape from New York. Snake wears an eyepatch over his left eye and primarily uses a MAC10. 'Iroquois Plissken' is also an alias used by Snake in the Metal Gear series. The character of Snake is heavily based on Snake Plissken, including wearing an eyepatch.
- The MAC10 is based on the real life machine pistol of the same name.
- The MAC10 does not appear in Exit the Gungeon, however it still exists in the assets and text string database of the game. Like all real-world guns in Exit the Gungeon, the unused MAC-10 has a different name in the Apple Arcade string database, where it is called the APP-10.
- The entry for the MAC10 in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle what seems to be Snake Plissken from Escape From New York, as well as a cracked egg with a face. The cracked egg may be a reference to the egg-shaped escape pod used by the President to escape a crashing Airforce 1 in the film.
