Pulse Cannon is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon. It fires a spread of 6 projectiles.
Synergies ETG
Finger on the Pulse - If the player has Heart Bottle, Heart Holster, Heart Purse, Heart Locket, or Heart Lunchbox and takes damage while holding Pulse Cannon, three miniature Pulse Cannons spawn around the player and fire at enemies, before disappearing. This effect stacks with itself, each adding 3 more pulse cannons for each heart item.
Iron Stance - If the player also has Heavy Boots, projectile speed and knockback are increased.
The Return - If the player has Pig, it turns green and shoots fire bats.- The Pulse Cannon is in the SHOTGUN gun class, and as such benefits from the
Shotgun Affinity synergy.
Other Appearances
- Some of the NPC Marines in the Marines past hold slightly visually altered Pulse Cannons, and will fire upon the Interdimensional Horror and its Imps throughout the fight. The behaviour of the Pulse Cannon here is very different, somewhat rapidly firing single projectile bolts with low damage.
Notes
- This weapon may be a reference to the M41A Pulse Rifle in the film Aliens.
- The entry for the Pulse Cannon in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle of a monstrous Bullet Kin with another Bullet Kin head emerging out of its toothy maw. This is likely a reference to the iconic inner jaw of Xenomorphs in the Alien franchise.
