Polished Product
After mostly confirming the functionality of bounce physics, work was done to improve the design. Smaller, lighter, and in an attractive shade of purple, the RUBE-ADYNE MK. II delivers on the promise of the original prototype.

  • Fires purple lasers that can each bounce up to 2 times.

Synergies ETG

Other Appearances

Unused and Cut Content

  • In pre-release versions of Enter the Gungeon, the RUBE-ADYNE MK.II went by the name Raygun, and had a different appearance. This version of the gun had only 200 maximum ammo.[1]

Notes

  • RUBE-ADYNE MK.II is the upgraded version of the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype.png RUBE-ADYNE Prototype.
  • The RUBE-ABYNE MK.II multiplies the loot weight of the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype by 2, doubling its likelihood of appearing. This is likely to aid players in obtaining the Synergy.png Rubenstein's Monster synergy.
    • Curiously, this does not work in reverse. Obtaining the RUBE-ADYNE Prototype does not make the RUBE-ADYNE MK.II more likely to appear.
  • The RUBE-ADYNE weapons may be named after David Rubel, one of the programmers of Enter the Gungeon.
    • As Rubel is one of the lead programmers at Dodge Roll, the Ammonomicon entry of this gun may be a reference to the development of Enter the Gungeon itself, with Rubel needing to program the physics of bouncy projectiles.
