The Western Bros are an unused group of three bosses cut from the Farewell to Arms update. They were presumably an original concept for the cut Old West floor, planned to be brought back for the R&G Dept. before ultimately being scrapped for the second time.

Behaviour

The Western Bros have unique unused animations for copying every attack used by the Trigger Twins. This likely means that the Western Bros were simply intended to be an 'upgraded' version of the Trigger Twins with the same attacks, but with three bros instead of two.

These attacks would have included 'dashing', 'pounding', and 'summoning'.

Each bro also has an animation for angering, implying that like the Trigger Twins they would become enraged as their brothers were slain.

Trivia

  • The Western Bros are each a reference to one of the three main characters from the 1966 Spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
    • Angel represents the mercenary 'Angel Eyes'.
    • Tuc represents the bandit 'Tuco'.
    • Nome represents the nameless drifter, nicknamed 'Blondie' in the film.
      • 'Nome' likely is a butchered shortening of 'no name'.
      • Nome's poncho is highly reminiscent of the Gunslinger's poncho. This is because both garments are directly inspired by the nameless drifter's garb from the film.
  • Each Western Bro was to carry his own unique revolver, similarly to how Shades and Smiley both have their own (Shades's Revolver and Smiley's Revolvers).
    • While the precise names of the weapons are unknown, in keeping with the motif set by the Trigger Twins they can be safely assumed to have been called Angel's Revolver, Nome's Revolver, and Tuc's Revolver.
