Don't Push The Red Button
The Zorgun is a mass-produced all-purpose machine gun. Its eggshell design allows it to be stored easily in intergalactic cruise ship compartments.
Zorgun is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.
Effects
- Rapidly fires homing projectiles.
- The last shot of each magazine fires either an
RPG rocket, a
Grenade Launcher grenade, or a
Bullet Bore drill. - Holding down the fire button will not automatically fire the last round, the button must be let go and pressed again.
Synergies ETG
Ancient Aliens - If the player has Alien Engine, Zorgun gets three special shots at the end of each magazine instead of one. Alien Engine will also fire Zorgun bullets.
Mr. Shadow - If the player has Shadow Bullets, the Zorgun's shadow bullets become random explosives.
Particle Flow - If the player has Laser Sight, the Zorgun gains stronger homing.
Other Appearances
- The song ENTER THE GUNGEON on the Enter the Gungeon soundtrack references the Zorgun by name in a list of guns.[1]
Notes
- The Zorgun is a reference to the ZF1 weapon sold by the villain Zorg in the film The Fifth Element. The Ammonomicon quote "Don't Push The Red Button" is a reference to the ZF1's red self destruct button in the film.
- The entry for the Zorgun in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle of a strangely dressed Bullet Kin and a tablet styled after a Shotgun Kin. These are references to Zorg and the Elemental Stones from The Fifth Element respectively.
