First invented by the Grey Mauser to cheat at one of Winchester's games. Though Winchester eventually caught on and rebuilt his targets to appear friendly, these bullets are still exceptionally useful. |
Homing Bullets is a passive item and bullet upgrade in Enter the Gungeon.
Effects
- Bullets have a 20% chance to home in on enemies.
- The chance for any given projectile home in is multiplied by the effect chance scalar of the player's current gun. This means that faster firing guns trigger the effect less often, while slower firing guns are more likely to be effected.
Synergies ETG
Dumb Smart Bullets - If the player has Scattershot, shots unaffected by Homing Bullets become larger and deal 50% more damage.
Smart Bombs - If the player also has Bomb or Ice Bomb, they will home in on targets and blow up slower.
Item Interactions
Helix Bullets - The homing ability of projectiles is not overridden, but is significantly weakened by the forced helical motion imparted by Helix Bullets.

- This item grants stronger homing than Crutch, but does not apply to all bullets.
