Effects

• Fires a spread of 6 disparate bullets with different effects.
  • 2 regular bullets with lower range than the other projectiles.
  • 2 poison bullets that create pools of poison goop on impact. As poison is a non-flammable liquid, these bullets are capable of extinguishing fused chests and the fireplace.

• Careful Iteration - If the player also has Casey, Casey becomes spiked and fires a spread of 6 nails each time it is swung.
• Love/Hate - If the player also has Shotgun Full of Love, the two guns are dual-wielded.
• Needless Acrimony - If the player also has Angry Bullets or Table Tech Rage, rage duration is greatly increased.
• The Shotgun Full of Hate is in the SHOTGUN gun class, and as such benefits from the Shotgun Affinity synergy.

Cut Content

• In pre-release versions of Enter the Gungeon, the Shotgun Full of Hate had only 80 maximum ammo.

Notes

• The Shotgun Full of Hate being in the SHOTGUN gun class makes it inherently less common than its counterpart, the Shotgun Full of Love which exists in the CHARM class.
  • This is due to the SHOTGUN class being a more common class, meaning more guns exist where possessing them will make the Shotgun Full of Hate less common.
• Love/Hate's name is based off having a "Love/Hate relationship" with something, a common name for appreciating one's strengths but also disliking the flaws heavily.
• The entry for the Shotgun Full of Hate in the Physical Ammonomicon has a small doodle of an angry skull and nail. This mirrors the entry doodle of the Shotgun Full of Love.
