Chaff Grenade is an active item that appears in Enter the Gungeon. Unlike most active items, it has a limited number of uses, and disappears after being used 3 times.
Effects
- Stuns enemies in the room for 10 seconds.
- Can be used to steal items from merchant npcs and the Shop if used in the same room. The length of time that players can steal after using the Chaff Grenade is the same as its stun duration, 10 seconds.
Notes
Camera Shy - If the player has Camera, the Camera has a chance to stun enemies.- Chaff Grenade can be found multiple times in a single run, and will grant 3 uses each time it is picked up.
- It can still be sold for its full sell price at 2 or 1 uses left.
- This item is a reference to a weapon of the same name often found in the Metal Gear Solid series of games.
- The Ammonomicon quote "Dazed and Confused" may be a reference to the movie Dazed and Confused, and/or the Led Zeppelin song of the same name.
