Has a chance to destroy and reflect enemy bullets.
A balanced blade that deals moderate damage, a trusty companion to nomad warriors. ※ This item is only available during the collaboration event. |
The Crusader's Blade (Chinese: 圣战士之刃 lit. Blade of the Holy Warrior) was a Gun exclusive to the Chinese Mobile Version of Enter the Gungeon. Included in this version on release, the Crusader's Blade was part of a cross-over event with the game Cult of the Lamb. It was officially removed from the game on November 30th 2024.
During the period of the cross-over event, the Crusader's Blade was obtainable by interacting with the Baa-Baa Lord Shrine, which replaced the Hero Shrine in the first room of the Keep of the Lead Lord on each run. This summoned a special Lamb Chest, which always contained the
Red Crown. This item transformed the current Gungeoneer into The Lamb, who started with the Crusader's Blade.
Effects
- Fires a piercing white sigil projectile when swung at full health.
- When swung, the Crusader's Blade creates a wide arc that deals damage to enemies caught within. This swing also pulls the player slightly forwards in the direction aimed.
- Enemy bullets caught within this swing are either destroyed, or have a chance to be reflected back at their owners, dealing damage much like bullets reflected by
Rolling Eye or
Fightsabre.
- Bullets that would normally split into more bullets do not do so when destroyed by the Crusader's Blade. This is especially beneficial for countering a number of Boss attacks.
- Enemy lasers can also be cancelled by the Crusader's Blade melee swing, however they must be hit by the swing at the origin point of the laser.
- Enemy bullets caught within this swing are either destroyed, or have a chance to be reflected back at their owners, dealing damage much like bullets reflected by
- The Crusader's Blade does not need to reload, however pressing the reload button will perform a block, destroying all enemy bullets in a small radius around the player.
- A number of tricks can be performed with the Crusader's Blade, almost identically to those performed by Blasphemy. For a list of tricks see Blasphemy#Tricks.
- Guard Flashing, while possible, is very difficult when using the native mobile control scheme of the Chinese Mobile Version. Players intending to Guard Flash may find it easier to use a controller.
Notes
- Cannot be dropped.
- Cannot be obtained by any Gungeoneer other than The Lamb. The Paradox cannot start with this gun.
- The Crusader's Blade is among the first and most basic weapons available to the player in Cult of the Lamb.
- Despite only firing sigils when the player is at full health, the melee swing of the Crusader's Blade can still reflect bullets regardless of the player's health. This gives the Crusader's Blade long ranged offensive capabilities regardless of the player's health, a property that Blasphemy does not share.
- The player's hand does not move with the Crusader's Blade when it is swung.
