Loot Bag is a passive item that appears in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.
Effects
- Doubles
drops from the following sources;
- Enemy & Boss Drops.
- Selling items to the Sell Creep.
- Picking up Health increasing items as The Robot.
- Various items that give money (See Loot Bag#Item Interactions)
- Taking damage causes the player to drop a random amount of
between 15 and 30% of the player's total, up to a maximum of 120.
- Dropped money will not fly towards the player and will disappear after a short time.
- Dropped money can still be picked up if the player walks over it.
- ETG Increases the likelihood of finding the
Clown Mask and
Drill.
How to Unlock ETG
Before it is unlocked, it has a 5% chance to replace an item in the shop or a 100% chance if the Biggest Wallet achievement has been unlocked, and costs 9999
.
It can be acquired in 2 ways:
- Stealing it from the shop
- Causing the shopkeeper to close his shop by either:
- Firing a gun in the shop a few times
- Failing to steal an item
- Luring the Lord of the Jammed into the shop
After it has been unlocked, it will appear as a regular item.
Item Interactions
Clown Mask - Like the Drill, holding Loot Bag will cause the Clown Mask to summon an additional clown heister companion.
Coin Crown/
Heart Purse +
Queen of Hearts - Does not affect the
given by Coin Crown, however it does double the amount of
hearts are converted into with the Queen of Hearts synergy.
Green Guon Stone +
Greener Guon Stone - Doubles the amount of
given when Green Guon Stone successfully heals the player.
Lil' Bomber +
King Bomber - Doubles the amount of
created when King Bomber's bombs hit an enemy.
MagnetXTG - The Magnet will immediately re-attract all
lost upon taking damage, effectively negating Loot Bags downside.

Notes
- ETG Dropped
that falls into a pit will teleport back to the player's current location, making it easier to pick back up.
- XTG Dropped
that falls into an elevator shaft cannot be recovered..
dropped near a wall is easier to pick up.
- ETG Loot Bag will appear on the Gungeoneer's back.
- This item is a reference to PAYDAY 2, and was added in a cross-promotional event.
- Doesn't Float is a reference to the PAYDAY 2 achievement Fish A.I., acquired by throwing a loot bag into the ocean.
- Loot Bag is the only member of the PAYDAY 2 item set which appears in Exit the Gungeon.
