Forgoing the desire to leave or change the past, these fanatical worshippers of the Gun are erratic and unpredictable.
Occasionally passive, but often ally with the Gundead to protect the Gungeon's treasures. Many Cultists learned the secret of the dodge roll from Ser Manuel. |
Not to be confused with The Cultist.
Gun Cultists are one of the only human enemies found in the Gungeon. They chase the player while firing bullets in erratic behaviour. Gun Cultists can also dodge roll, being the only enemy in the game that can, to avoid the player's bullets. If lit on fire or poisoned, they will continuously dodge roll until the effect wears off.
Other Appearances
- The Dragunfire Cultists are a group of Gun Cultists.
- The Cultist appears to be a young Gun Cultist, born into the cult.
- Several Gun Cultists appear briefly in the animated launch trailer for Enter the Gungeon, worshipping at the Cache of the Ammulich.
Notes
- It is possible for them to dodge roll through a BSG explosion.
- Because the Gun Cultists learned how to dodge roll from Ser Manuel, it's possible that the Gun Cultists were former Gungeoneers, before (presumably) going insane, putting an end to their Gungeoneer identity, and becoming Gun Cultists.
- If a Gun Cultist is killed by falling in a pit, he will make the same sound that the player makes when falling.
