Space Core Assault Rifle
Object Name:

Sprite Name:
space_rifleVoid Core Assault Rifle is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon and Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead.
Effects
- ETG Fires a 3-shot burst of lasers.
- HoTG Rapid-fires laser blasts.
Synergies ETG
Armored Corps - If the player has AC-15, both guns gain increased fire rate and shot speed.
The Void Corps - If the player has Void Core Cannon or Void Shotgun, whenever one of the guns are held, the others orbit the player. Reloading causes the orbiting gun(s) to fire towards the crosshair. This does not consume the ammo of the orbiting weapons.
- If the player uses Duct Tape to attach a gun to one of the gun(s) that orbit, the orbiting gun will fire shots from both the original gun and the one taped to it.
- Despite logically requiring the other guns, this synergy works with the Lich's Eye Bullets, providing both extra guns.
Cut Content
- In the pre-alpha of Enter the Gungeon, the Void Core Assault Rifle had a slighty different name and appearance. It was called the Space Core Assault Rifle with the ammonomicon quote "Rapid Fire." with a period.[1]
- This version of the gun also had a maximum ammo of 250.
Notes
- Prior to release, this gun was originally known as the Space Core Assault Rifle with 250 ammo and 30 magazine size.
- The name of the synergy "Armored Corps" is a homophone to the Armored Core game series.
- The Void Core Captain described in this gun's Ammonomicon entry is Alistair, the Thunderbolt, referenced in the Ammonomicon entries of many electricity-themed guns and items. A note written by him can also appear in secret rooms.
- It can be presumed from the VCAR's entry that Alistair made his way into the Gungeon to try and make sure that the Void Core was never disbanded.
