| The favored weapon of the Void Core's frontline soldiers.

Void Shotgun is a gun that appears in Enter the Gungeon, Exit the Gungeon, and Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead. It fires a shotgun blast of 6ETGXTG/4HoTG short-range purple bullets and has strong knockback.
Synergies ETG
Iron Stance - If the player also has Heavy Boots, the gun's damage and knockback are increased by 20%, its shot speed is increased by 50%, and its reload time is decreased by 20%.
The Void Corps - If the player has Void Core Cannon or Void Core Assault Rifle, whenever one of the guns is held, the others orbit the player. Reloading causes the orbiting gun(s) to fire towards the crosshair. This consumes no ammo from the orbiting weapons.
- If the player uses Duct Tape to attach a gun to one of the gun(s) that orbit, the orbiting gun will fire shots from both the original gun and the one taped to it.
- Despite logically requiring the other guns, this synergy works with the Lich's Eye Bullets, providing both extra guns.
Cut Content
- In the pre-alpha of Enter the Gungeon, the Void Shotgun had a slighty different name and appearance. It was called the Space Core Shotgun with the ammonomicon quote "Spread Shot.".[1]
- This version of the gun also had a clip capacity of 6, and a maximum ammo of 60.
Notes
- The Void Shotgun is in the SHOTGUN gun class, and as such is affected by the
Shotgun Affinity synergy. - CQC stands for Close Quarters Combat.
- This gun is a reference to the Junker Legionnaire Shotgun from the tabletop miniatures game, Void 1.1.
