Unused and Cut Content
Unused: Fruits & Vegetables - If the player has Banana, it causes an unknown effect.
- Broccolis text is designated as EYEOFTHETIGER in the text string database of Enter the Gungeon. A sprite with the name
tiger_eye_001
can still be found in the assets of Enter the Gungeon. This suggests that Broccoli was originally themed as either a literal tigers eye or a tiger's eye quartz gemstone.- The name 'Eye of the Tiger' is a reference to the Survivor song Eye of the Tiger.
Notes
- If duplicates of this item are somehow obtained, further increases damage, the chance to negate damage, and movement speed.
- Prior to the Supply Drop UpdateETG, Broccoli was an
item, did not increase speed, and only gave a 5% damage increase.
- The Ammonomicon entry for Broccoli is almost identical to the first sentence on the Wikipedia page for Broccoli, which reads "Broccoli is an edible green plant in the cabbage family whose large flowering head is eaten as a vegetable."
- The tagline could be a possible reference to the cartoon character, Popeye the Sailor, who would eat a can of spinach to become stronger.
