Skusket
Skuskets are enemies that appear in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.
Behaviour
Enter the Gungeon ETG
Skuskets slowly float towards the player, with two lines of bullets spinning around them. The bullets that form these 'arms' can be destroyed by blanks, obstackes, or effects like Blasphemy, but will regenerate quickly. Periodically, Skuskets will fire homing skull-shaped projectiles that chase down the player, before bursting into 6 bullets upon hitting an obstacle or reaching the end of their range.
Exit the Gungeon XTG
Skuskets slowly float towards the player, with two lines of bullets spinning around them. Skuskets do not fire projectiles, meaning that contact damage and their bullet 'arms' are their only method of dealing damage. After taking enough damage, Skuskets will 'enrage', causing them to turn red and increase their movement speed.
Notes
- The name Skusket is a portmanteau of the words Skull and Musket, implying some connection to musket weapons or musket balls.
- ETG While the skull shaped bullets fired by the Skusket resemble those fired by the High Priest and High Dragun, those created by a Skusket cannot be destroyed by shooting at them.
- ETG Possible Bug If the challenge modifier Final Attack is active, the bullets fired upon the death of a Skusket will be very subtly smaller than those fired by other enemies.
- ETG Bug If Casey is used to hit bullets that make up the 'arms' of a Skusket, they will not be reflected back at the Skusket, but will become owned by the player, rendering those bullets unable to harm the player until they are destroyed through some other means.
