This malevolent spirit lives inside pots found in the Gungeon.
It will viciously attack anyone that shatters its ceramics. |
Whenever a pot is broken, there is a 0.05% chance to spawn a Gun Fairy. The resulting fairy has an equal chance to be either blue or pink. The Fairy wanders around the room, rapidly firing bullets at the player.
Notes
- Gun Fairies can be captured with the Bottle. Upon use, they will gradually fully heal the player.
- Gun Fairies can be spawned upon breaking a stone corpse in The Gorgun fight.
- Gun Fairies will automatically die if the player enters into combat in a different room to it.
- In the game code[1], the damage source string for this automatic death is called "Lonely Suicide".
Trivia
- The Gun Fairy's design, Ammonomicon entry and ability to heal when put in a bottle are a reference to fairies from the Legend of Zelda series.
- A Gun Fairy is seen in a jar within Patches and Mendy's tent, which they use to heal the player.
