A Big Bat Bullet
The largest known species of Bullat.

King Bullats are large Bullat variant enemies that appear in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.

Enter the Gungeon ETG

King Bullats fly slowly towards the player, frequently pausing to fire circles of 12 bullets outwards. Each bullet fired by the King Bullat can bounce once, ricocheting off a wall or obstacle.

Upon death King Bullats spawn 2-4 Bullats or Shotgats. The spawned bat has a 75% chance to be a Bullat and a 25% chance to be a Shotgat. Whether or not the King Bullat is jammed has no bearing on whether or not the Bullats it spawns will be jammed.

Exit the Gungeon XTG

King Bullats fly slowly towards the player, frequently pausing to fire circles of 8 bullets outwards. Each bullet fired by the King Bullat can bounce once, ricocheting off a wall or obstacle. King Bullats will often spawn offscreen, flying into the elevator shaft from above/the right.

Unlike their appearance in Enter the Gungeon, King Bullats do not spawn any kind of Bullat on death.

Notes

  • The King Bullats attack being a ring of bouncing projectiles is a reference to echolocation, the ability for some animals, including some bats, to sense their surroundings via bouncing sounds off the environment.
  • ETG If the challenge modifier Final Attack is active, the ring of bullets fired upon the death of a King Bullat will be bouncy projectiles.
