Best Served Cold
Beware the Blizzbulon's circular spray, for it always precedes several targeted assaults.

Originally bred by the Blobulonian Empire for an ill-fated winter campaign, the Blizzbulon feels no pity in its cold heart.

Blizzbulons are Blobulonian enemies that appear in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.

Enter the Gungeon ETG

Blizzbulons fire triangular bullets in all directions, followed by two spreads of 3 triangular bullets towards the player. They leave a trail of water. They freeze upon death and can be shattered by either shooting at them or dodge rolling into them, leaving a small pool of water. Using a blank will only push the body.

Exit the Gungeon XTG

Blizzbulons slide back and forth across the elevator platform, periodically pausing to fire a ring of 12 pointy bullets around themselves. They do not react to the players position or actions.

The behaviour of a Blizzbulon in Exit the Gungeon

  • ETG The sprite assets of the Blizzbulon are labelled as Icebulon internally.
  • ETG If the challenge modifier Final Attack.png Final Attack is active, the ring of bullets fired upon the death of a Blizzbulon will adopt the spiky appearance of its regular projectiles, but will not behave any differently.
  • ETG Due to leaving a watery trail, Blizzbulons are highly vulnerably to electric attacks such as those from Battery Bullets.
  • ETG If a Blizzbulon is jammed, the icy corpse left behind upon its death will quickly dissolve into black smoke, like the regular corpses of other jammed enemies.
