Doug
Doug is an NPC who appears in Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon.
Function
In both Enter the Gungeon and Exit the Gungeon, once he is rescued from a cell, Doug will occasionally appear in The Breach/Underbreach. Here Doug operates a small travelling shop where he will sell various item and gun unlocks in exchange for .
Enter the Gungeon ETG
In Enter the Gungeon, Dougs shop is located in the lower center area of the Breach, to the right of the Hero Of Time statue. A total of 852 is required to purchase everything Doug offers, although he only offers 2 items or guns for sale at a time. Doug will only restock his shop once both of the current items or guns on offer have been purchased.
Purchasing every item and gun from Doug unlocks Gilded Bullets.
The chance that Doug will appear is based on the last Chamber the player cleared before returning to the Breach. 'Clearing' a chamber is counted as killing that Chambers boss, and floors do not need to be 'full cleared' to count. Secret Chambers, including Bullet Hell, have no effect on the likelihood of Doug appearing.
