Synergrace is an NPC in Enter the Gungeon who appears at random throughout the Gungeon once rescued.

Function

The player can pay Synergrace in to purchase a synergy chest.

Notes

• Purchasing from Synergrace 3 times unlocks the Macho Brace.
• Just like regular synergy chests, the Synergy chest Synergrace produces is not guaranteed to produce an item with synergy.
• It is possible for the synergy chest to be a Glitch Chest.
• The Synergy Chest spawned by Synergrace is treated like any other chest in Rainbow Mode, and will not provide an item.
• The quote "Let's see if love really can bloom on the battlefield!" is a reference to the quote "Do you think love can bloom, even on a battlefield?" by Otacon in Metal Gear Solid.

Synerscopes

When appearing in the Gungeon, Synergrace is flanked by two orange machines with faces which resemble arcade cabinets. They are never addressed or named, but are known internally as 'Synerscopes'. Synerscopes will react by animating when the player speaks to Synergrace, and when Synergrace summons a synergy chest, but serve no mechanical purpose.

Synerscopes are protected by projectile repelling fields, like other NPCS, but do not react to being shot at.
