Cursula is a Merchant NPC that appears in Enter the Gungeon.

Function

Cursula runs a small shop within The Gungeon, offering passing Gungeoneers a variety of magic items, charming guns, and heart containers in exchange for . Items and Guns in Cursulas shop are all offered at a 50% discount over regular shop prices, however purchasing from Cursula will increase the players Curse by 2.5. This curse is added in addition to any curse the items or guns may have inherently.

	Life Orb "Your Soul is Mine"		Gun (Beam)	Fires a homing beam. After killing an enemy, pressing reload deals damage to all enemies in the room.
	Pitchfork "Get Forked!"		Gun (Semiautomatic)	Fires piercing fireballs that have a chance to Burn enemies.
	Shotgun Full of Love "Kill With Kindness"		Gun (Semiautomatic)	Fires a shotgun blast of various cutesy items and symbols. Has a chance to Charm enemies.
	Unicorn Horn "Fires Friendship"		Gun (Beam)	Fires a homing rainbow laser beam. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Badge "By The Book"		Passive	Summons a police officer that follows the player and fights alongside them. The officer will die after taking too much damage. Interacting with the officer after his death grants +20% damage and increases Curse by 2.
	Big Boy "Set The World On Fire"		Active	Calls down a nuclear missile at the crosshair, causing a large explosion that causes massive damage, deletes enemy bullets, leaves poison on the floor, and can transmogrify enemies into Mutant Bullet Kin. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Blood Brooch "What Music They Make!"		Passive	Heals the player for half a heart for every 1200 damage they deal. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Bracket Key "`debugkill"		Active	Deals 150 damage to all enemies in the room, and prevents additional enemy waves from spawning. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Charm Horn "The Call Of Duty"		Active	Charms enemies near the player upon use. Additionally, using the horn will charm merchants, allowing the player to steal from them.
	Cursed Bullets "Too Spooky"		Passive	Increases damage by 10% for each level of curse the player has. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Disarming Personality "For You?"		Passive	Decreases all shop prices by 15%.
	Elder Blank "Excommunicate Bullets"		Active	Triggers the effect of a Blank, erasing enemy bullets in the room and pushing enemies away. Increases Curse by 2, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Heart Locket "Memento Mori"		Passive	Grants a heart container.
	Heart Purse "Form Begets Function"		Passive	Grants a heart container.
	Holey Grail "Withered Vessel"		Passive	Upon taking damage, triggers a full screen Blank effect and refills 50% of the ammo of all the player's guns. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Knife Shield "Use Again To Launch!"		Active	Creates a ring of knives around the player that damage enemies and block enemy bullets. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Lament Configurum "Shellraiser"		Active	Spawns a wave of hellish enemies. Sometimes drops a free item or gun of , , or quality. Spawned items will always give one additional curse. Increases Curse by 1, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Monster Blood "Twist To Open"		Passive	Grants a heart container and immunity to poison. Taking damage creates a pool of poison goop.
	Sixth Chamber "Blessing Of Kaliber"		Passive	Improves active item cooldowns by 5% for each level of curse. Inverts the negative effect of Curse on room drops, making room drops more common the more curse the player has. Increases Curse by 2, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.
	Spice "A tantalizing cube of power."		Active	Single use. Increases certain stats upon use, depending on how many times it has been used. Each time a spice cube is used, more spice cubes will spawn in place of items or pickups.
	Stuffed Star "Protective Plush"		Active	Makes the player invulnerable to damage for a time when activated.
	Wax Wings "Too Close To The Gun"		Passive	Grants flight.
	Yellow Chamber "the jammed thing"		Passive	Grants 2 heart containers. Upon entering a room, there is a chance that an enemy will be charmed for the duration of the room. Increases fire rate by 15%. Increases Curse by 2, in addition to the curse inherent to purchasing from Cursula.

Cut Content

• An IGN pre-release teaser for Enter the Gungeon shows Cursula in the Breach during a shot intended to illustrate the population of the Breach over time. Whether this means that Cursula initially appeared in the Breach during pre-release versions of Enter the Gungeon, or if she was simply placed there to fill space is unknown.

Notes

• Stealing from Cursula will only increase curse by 1, meaning that stealing from Cursula instead of purchasing results in less net curse.
• Life Orb has half of the weight of any other guns or items, making it appear in Cursula's shop half as often as any other item.
